So, this week was my first at my new part time job at Ann Taylor Loft. Let me tell you, I have a lot of respect for those who are able to work retail for years on end. One week in and my body wants to lay down and fly the white flag. I’m enjoying it for now, but a full time job with a salary and a 401k plan would be wonderful. And maybe a desk and a comfy chair. Just saying.
In way more exciting news, Patrick and I are sharing the weekend with my mom and Grandma Doris, who flew in on Thursday and are staying until Sunday. Lots of shopping, cajun food, plantation tours and coffee breaks await!
In way less exciting news, my Amos Moses has a little problem called a perianal fistual. It’s a purebred German Shepard genetic disease, and while we always knew that he had shepard in his (with the neurosis and coloring and all), we were hoping that he would miss out on the plethora of problems shepards come with. For now, we are able to treat him pretty easily, but keep your fingers crossed for us that this is the extent of his health problems.
